Douglas Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Porquera in the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Bobby Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Fowler. FC Pladask's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Babe Ruth got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Arixo Aponte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Douglas Fowler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Jan-Kenneth Øglænd got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bobby Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Fowler having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Babe Ruth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibon Toraño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristen Sollien went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ibon Toraño made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Kristen Sollien sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Arixo Aponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Fowler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Søren Skålevik. After 44 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Stordal. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Mambru Fontoya got a free kick in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Eik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kinsen Aguinagalde came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Real Marabino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kinsen Aguinagalde couldn't finish the play. Ibon Toraño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Eik in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Sollien came free, but Ibon Toraño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arixo Aponte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Fowler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. FC Pladask's Douglas Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arixo Aponte in the 73rd minute of play. Real Marabino made a substitution. Ekain Porlier replaced Mambru Fontoya. Real Marabino's Bastian Errarte was substituted for Martin Porquera. Bautista Govantes took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Fowler. Douglas Fowler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Douglas Fowler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bautista Govantes in the 80th minute. Douglas Fowler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kinsen Aguinagalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Real Marabino booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Marabino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
