FC Koper's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunther Van Landewijck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Claudio Brkić's late challenge caught a Geetsvondel²'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Brkić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Koper getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Claudio Brkić hit a great ball. FC Koper's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Brkić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Aaron De Ceuster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geetsvondel² and the FC Koper players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Claudio Brkić was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 72nd minute Frank De Mol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Frank De Mol rounded FC Koper's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Gunther Van Landewijck in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bine Šercelj, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the game, Simon Van den Berghe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geetsvondel²'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Koper the free kick. A collision led to Geetsvondel² getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
