Honduras's attentive Ivan Navarro managed to snatch the ball when 唐源亮 made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Damazy Biegun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. Damazy Biegun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 楚适辰 in the 23rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 楚适辰 scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damazy Biegun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 27th minute of play. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Biegun having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damazy Biegun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Bermudez got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Bermudez in the 42nd minute. Hugo Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

But to his dismay, Hugo Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 83rd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Bermudez struck a weak shot in the 84th minute.
