Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cosme Fulanito made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Fulanito in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 86th minute of play forced D.P.Aarburg's goalkeeper Valentin Bujor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Fulanito went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Sam Campbells short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Valentin Bujor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
