Cagua Seoane was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Mario Dewaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabian Reborio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Mario Dewaele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cagua Seoane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Fabian Reborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After having played for 32 minutes, Mario Dewaele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RockCity F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Dewaele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Dewaele got free with Julio Vera in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cagua Seoane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fabian Reborio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cagua Seoane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cagua Seoane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RockCity F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cagua Seoane could save by the left post. Cagua Seoane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cagua Seoane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes RockCity F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Mario Dewaele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cagua Seoane. The goal made the score 1-3. 70 minutes into the game, RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. RockCity F.C.'s Ramiro Larrea was substituted for Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs. After 74 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Lira. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cagua Seoane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 79 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Cagua Seoane managed to make a qualified save. RockCity F.C.'s players were relieved. After having played for 81 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Oliverio. The audience was convinced that Mario Dewaele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ecuador played a much better game than RockCity F.C. and deserved their victory. The RockCity F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
