With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Jerzy Zjawin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Santino Seco. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jerzy Zjawin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta Negra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Zjawin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 23rd minute of play. Areion Koulpasis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jerzy Zjawin kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Azevedo. In the 37th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Cole struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Negra FC. In the 40th minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andy Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Areion Koulpasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Floresta Negra FC from getting a goal against them. Areion Koulpasis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski was substituted for Andy Cole. The supporters of Colombia booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Areion Koulpasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Hector Bazkoare got a free kick in the 64th minute. Egun Pais made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Kevin Mastache sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 68th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Colombia's Abram Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Colombia's Abram Secada in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floresta Negra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Egun Pais when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 84th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 93rd minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Floresta Negra FC fully deserved thier win.
