After 45 minutes of play, Villa Verde FC's Florian Wydrych made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cearense came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Verde FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
