After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 28th minute, Jorge Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tingara FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Jorge Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Dias in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Dias came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano made a kick off. When Jorge Dias came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tingara FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Dias couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Jorge Dias notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Karim Kristmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well-hit corner resulted in Arneil Biddell heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 76th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but André de Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Tingara FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Salvador Gisbert heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Karim Kristmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Tingara FC - DMZ's Téo Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tingara FC - DMZ reached it. 82 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tingara FC - DMZ the free kick. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jose Correa was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Tingara FC - DMZ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joshua Secada was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
