The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juventus F.C.'s Emiliano Feltrin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Juventus F.C.'s Emiliano Feltrin got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juventus F.C. throughout the match.
