When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Luís Paulo Linhares made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Bem Bom with Luís Paulo Linhares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
