An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Soberano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Soberano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogério Soberano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CA Portugália's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Soberano came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério Soberano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Soberano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Fernandinho Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Fernando dos Santos was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Serafino Gaitano in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Soberano was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of play. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Fernandinho Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Gaitano. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Rafael Gallo put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Rogério Soberano. 91 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Soberano came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.
