Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Rodolfo Egoi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Rodolfo Egoi rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 8th minute. Prudencio Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prudencio Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Gartzea. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Egoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Prudencio Eleder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Santos Isusko got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Segundo Ucieda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Prudencio Eleder struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. 48 minutes in the game, Rodolfo Egoi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Segundo Ucieda made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Alvaro Urre to make any attempt to save it. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Gartzea came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Urre came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 78th minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alvaro Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Prudencio Eleder kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alvaro Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
