Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Lencastre started the match with the kick off. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Honorato Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the C. A. Adestiempo Juniors defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Primo. The C. A. Adestiempo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Primo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Lencastre during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Primo came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Lencastre's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Domingos Lencastre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of the match. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Domingos Lencastre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno De Putter took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Primo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Domingos Lencastre managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Lencastre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Honorato Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Domingos Lencastre struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Adestiempo Juniors. 62 minutes into the match, Filomeno De Putter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno De Putter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to C. A. Adestiempo Juniors getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Octavio Koldobika hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Honorato Primo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 76th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 81st minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, Dario Abastas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 89th minute, Dario Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C. A. Adestiempo Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Domingos Lencastre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
