Benigno Amor made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adolfo Jorrin however managed to control. Ahmet Kadri Adılhans short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Adrian Czornomaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACYFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Czornomaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Safet Jovanović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Ahmet Kadri Adılhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Ahmet Kadri Adılhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Adrian Czornomaz came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 37th minute of play forced CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ahmet Kadri Adılhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Safet Jovanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Czornomaz to make the kick off. When Ahmet Kadri Adılhan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the CACYFA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kadri Adılhan couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luis Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi was substituted for Adrian Czornomaz. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Dunixi in the 75th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Safet Jovanović in the 76th minute of play. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faustino Cuarto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by CACYFA's Alfredo Emeterio. But to his dismay, Alfredo Emeterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alfredo Emeterio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACYFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Emeterio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, CACYFA's Alfredo Emeterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Safet Jovanović in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Safet Jovanović notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Benigno Amor fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CACYFA's protests and gave Benigno Amor a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. CACYFA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
