Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabi Gol got the match started through his kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gabi Gol sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Arrigo De Filippo made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Balonek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 18th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabi Gol in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Gabi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goianésia E.C reached it. Gabi Gol hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Goianésia E.C's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Balonek came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Kertész took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Diego Almeida made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Goianésia E.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute, one of Goianésia E.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goianésia E.C. Norbert Balonek went to the wrong direction when Edmundo Espiga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 87th minute of play. Tomasz Poniewaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. 91 minutes into the game, Gabi Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Norbert Balonek in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Goianésia E.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
