Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Ramiro Bautista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sp. Mataderos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Reynaldo Hustaz in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sp. Mataderos getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Leandro Lobo hit a great ball. Aldo Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Leandro Lobo came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Victorino Geofredo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Lobo in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Danilo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sp. Mataderos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Oriche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Danilo Abeitia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matias Mogel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Matias Mogel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 43rd minute.

Sp. Mataderos's Danilo Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Aldo Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Aldo Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Abeitia having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sp. Mataderos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximiliano Oriche in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Maximiliano Oriche almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Leandro Lobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Leandro Lobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Abeitia made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sp. Mataderos's Ramiro Bautista. But to his dismay, Ramiro Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Victorino Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sp. Mataderos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Geofredo couldn't finish the play. If Victorino Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Sp. Mataderos were the better team. Sp. Mataderos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
