La Società Sport Osasco's Dudu Moreno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of La Società Sport Osasco's Samuel Santos. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Antonio Reno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Antonio Reno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. La Società Sport Osasco's Dudu Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The La Società Sport Osasco fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
