The referee gave Chile a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Lacasa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Società Sport Osasco's Samuel Santos. 1-3. The La Società Sport Osasco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-3.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Orlando Casaus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuel Santos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 55 minutes, Aníbal da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Società Sport Osasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boruc Rybak kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wincek in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Samuel Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wincek in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski. But to his dismay, CJ Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of La Società Sport Osasco booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. The La Società Sport Osasco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
