Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Furman in the 2nd minute. 郝晨浩 came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 minutes, Leslie Nilsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidio Furman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 郝晨浩 saved Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Edelmiro Rivas made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 郝晨浩 made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 55 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented 郝晨浩 managed to make a qualified save. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s players were relieved. If Hıdır Aygüneş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ made a substitution. Diego Armando Milito replaced Sun Wei. 64 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Furman came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 郝晨浩 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Milito in the 67th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 郝晨浩 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with 郝晨浩 in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 郝晨浩 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 郝晨浩 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Armando Milito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Cacheres struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴.
