Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Cepot Subarkah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Solusi FC's Cepot Subarkah got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cepot Subarkah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when José Carlos Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amund Villensgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amund Villensgaard having to make a save. Alfonso Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 44th minute. Alfonso Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Carlos Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, José Carlos Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solusi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 57 minutes, José Carlos Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solusi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Carlos Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, José Carlos Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Solusi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Cepot Subarkah struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solusi FC. In the 67th minute, José Carlos Perez made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Perez in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Reyes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zahran Hermansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Solusi FC's José Carlos Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cepot Subarkah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
