Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. Fabrício Lustosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Fabrício Lustosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fryderyk Grucza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fryderyk Grucza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Arana Ponta got a free kick in the 58th minute. Arana Ponta hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Grucza in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia Monte Gordo's Dinei Sergipano was substituted for Adérito Abreu. After having played for 84 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mao Zhen Hong was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
