In the 16th minute, Adrian Barraclough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belper Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute Vytautas Kalasiūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glyn Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Denis Birch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belper Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malpaso the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Belper Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Birch to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Barraclough hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Vytautas Kalasiūnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Glyn Sherwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincent Holdroyd's late challenge caught a Malpaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Holdroyd helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 minutes, Adrian Barraclough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belper Town and the Malpaso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Barraclough kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Malpaso's Vytautas Kalasiūnas in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vytautas Kalasiūnas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddie East in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Gelacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vytautas Kalasiūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Osvaldo Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glyn Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Malpaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Belper Town's Ian Chadwick was substituted for Silvester Constable. Raul Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Belper Town:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malpaso:s goal. Eugenio Bonadona made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belper Town's Denis Birch. The audience was convinced that Vytautas Kalasiūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glyn Sherwood was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Eugenio Bonadona's late challenge caught a Belper Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Malpaso's Eugenio Bonadona got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Osvaldo Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glyn Sherwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vytautas Kalasiūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 98 minutes into the match, Belper Town's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Baudelio came free, but Glyn Sherwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Belper Town's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belper Town may have spent more time on the ball, but Malpaso were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
