If Honorato Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Cristian Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Loi having to interfere. After some careless play in the Belgrano FC defense, Honorato Enaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Quinteros. The Belgrano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Quinteros should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute of the match Leonides Lauren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafino Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amador Oxarra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 48th playminute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Francis to make the kick off. The referee showed Dionisio Mero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
