When Emiliano Mazzocchetti came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Montorfano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Mazzocchetti couldn't finish the play. Utku Dokuzoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ciccio Di Tommaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emiliano Mazzocchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alperen Diclehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Cocca in the 7th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Montorfano got a freekick which was hit by Elia Grieco. Montorfano's Ciccio Di Tommaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Utku Dokuzoğlu in the 18th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Ciccio Di Tommaso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felice Muzi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Eraldo Cocca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eraldo Cocca scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alperen Diclehan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciccio Di Tommaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utku Dokuzoğlu in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Montorfano's goal looked a bit too open when Utku Dokuzoğlu came free, but Ciccio Di Tommaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Eraldo Cocca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alperen Diclehan. Alpspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eraldo Cocca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 39th minute Eraldo Pozzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alperen Diclehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Montorfano got a freekick which was hit by Elia Grieco. After having played for 41 minutes, Asrın Şenalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asrın Şenalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Elia Grieco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montorfano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpspor the free kick. A collision led to Montorfano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elia Grieco hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Utku Dokuzoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Di Tommaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Grieco was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Montorfano getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Elia Grieco hit a great ball. After the first half Montorfano were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eraldo Cocca might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alperen Diclehan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eraldo Cocca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Eraldo Pozzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Caner Karaalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Di Tommaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Asrın Şenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Montorfano's goal looked a bit too open when Utku Dokuzoğlu came free, but Ciccio Di Tommaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 69 minutes on the clock, Emilio Melchiorre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Sergen Öktemer placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ciccio Di Tommaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asrın Şenalp in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Asrın Şenalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Di Tommaso was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Emiliano Mazzocchetti hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, Alpspor's Ayvaz Şenaltan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciccio Di Tommaso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alpspor reached it. In the 89th minute Eraldo Pozzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alperen Diclehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Monti got free with Alperen Diclehan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Montorfano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
