After 14 played minutes Mazán got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Oihan. In the 16th minute, Carlo Bosso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mazán's goalkeeper Ermegildo Hulberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Vinicio Miro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Juventus's Alessandro Miccoli. Alessandro Miccoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arrigo Della Torre made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ermegildo Hulberto would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Carlo Bosso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Mazán defense, Damiano Nicolini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Hulberto. The Mazán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Hulberto should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Della Torre got free with Ermegildo Hulberto in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Juventus's Edoardo Troiano in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazán's goalie prevented a goal. If Arrigo Della Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alessandro Miccoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Nuno in the 41st minute of the match. Damiano Nicolini struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ermegildo Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Nuno was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Damiano Nicolini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazán's Ermegildo Hulberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alessandro Miccoli made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Zacarias Arnau sent off a good shot on target. Vinicio Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Juventus getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ercole Pinti hit a great ball. Alvise Di Fabio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ermegildo Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Bosso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Edoardo Troiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Juventus fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Juventus's Arrigo Della Torre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ermegildo Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Nicolini in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Arrigo Della Torre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Alessandro Miccoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Arnau went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mazán's zone, Carlo Bosso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Hulberto came out of the goal and Carlo Bosso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Juventus fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Juventus's Damiano Nicolini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Nicolini in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Hulberto saved Mazán from getting behind. There was no doubt that Juventus were the better team. Juventus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
