Gregory Hildmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Malpaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Malpaso's Raul Erroman got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Majerus in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Gelacio saved Malpaso from getting behind. Manuel Mundo got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eugenio Bonadona. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Matai during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Malpaso getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bartolo Matai hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Saint Etienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Hirsch to maneuver through the defense.
