Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Selami Kutsalmis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Bolvadin's Selami Kutsalmis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gregory Hildmann. Gregory Hildmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 5 played minutes Saint Etienne got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Majerus. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Etienne's zone, Refik Kotuzhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Hildmann came out of the goal and Refik Kotuzhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Refik Kotuzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Bernhard Krier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Etienne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Krier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Saint Etienne's Bernhard Krier in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolvadin's goalie prevented a goal. Bernhard Krier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tuncer Canbulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Bernhard Krier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Canbulat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Selami Kutsalmis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ralf Behm kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Refik Kotuzhan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Bolvadin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refik Kotuzhan couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Saint Etienne's Bernhard Krier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuncer Canbulat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute Sercan Buğdaycı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Hildmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolvadin's Tuncer Canbulat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Krier in the 37th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Saint Etienne's Bernhard Krier made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuncer Canbulat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Selami Kutsalmis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Selami Kutsalmis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Saint Etienne were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bernhard Krier made the kick off in the second half. Bernhard Krier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Tuncer Canbulat 52 minutes into the match. If Bernhard Krier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernhard Krier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Saint Etienne got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Majerus. 61 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goal looked a bit too open when Selami Kutsalmis came free, but Gregory Hildmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Kutsalmis in the 68th minute of play. Tuncer Canbulat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Krier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Saint Etienne booed when Bolvadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baki Durhal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuncer Canbulat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Timothy Hantzsch. Selami Kutsalmis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernhard Krier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncer Canbulat made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Bernhard Krier sent off a good shot on target. Harry Thielemann hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tuncer Usum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolvadin's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuncer Usum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Hildmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Refik Kotuzhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Hildmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolvadin's goalkeeper Tuncer Canbulat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tuncer Canbulat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernhard Krier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Selami Kutsalmis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Hildmann having to interfere.
