After a rather tough play, Montorfano's Elia Grieco got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Leonides Lauren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciccio Di Tommaso skillfully saved the ball. Eraldo Cocca scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Quinteros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Amador Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Belgrano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Oxarra couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Di Tommaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Michael in the 17th minute of play. Ciccio Di Tommaso made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Amador Oxarra sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Mazzocchetti in the 24th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Belgrano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Mazzocchetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Quinteros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Mazzocchetti ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Belgrano FC's Lisandro Abeijon got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Eraldo Cocca came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Montorfano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Cocca couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano FC's zone, Eraldo Cocca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Quinteros came out of the goal and Eraldo Cocca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Francis to strike the kick off in the second half. If Emiliano Mazzocchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Cocca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Belgrano FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eraldo Cocca. Eraldo Pozzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abelardo Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Cocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Belgrano FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lisandro Abeijon hit a great ball. Eraldo Pozzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Abelardo Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Belgrano FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eraldo Cocca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Belgrano FC defense, Eraldo Cocca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Quinteros. The Belgrano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Quinteros should have stopped the shot. Leonides Lauren hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Montorfano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Grieco to maneuver through the defense. When Eraldo Cocca came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Montorfano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Cocca couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Abeijon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Montorfano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Belgrano FC.
