Nogolí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Belgrano FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Enmanuel. Eusebio Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Amador Oxarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Taurino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Belgrano FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Francis made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Conrado Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Francis in the 56th minute of play forced Nogolí's goalkeeper Eusebio Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nogolí booed when Belgrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Belgrano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Michael to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
