Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Brych started the match with the kick off. Ludwig Arendt lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ludwig Arendt kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Ambroz came free, but Gregory Hildmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Tjeckien's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marek Ambroz in the 9th minute. Marek Ambroz made a great header on AC Tjeckien's corner, it was just that Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann managed to reach the ball for a save. Zdeněk Hradský was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Jonas Majerus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Majerus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Günther Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saint Etienne's Raphaël Favre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Svatopluk Lehečka in the 19 minute of the game. Saint Etienne's Jonas Majerus got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goal looked a bit too open when Oldřich Baláž came free, but Gregory Hildmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Roman Brych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Hildmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libor Vesecký in the 26th minute of play. Günther Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milan Starosta kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Zdeněk Hradský was a little too slow when Günther Lentz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timothy Hantzsch made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AC Tjeckien's zone, Timothy Hantzsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdeněk Hradský came out of the goal and Timothy Hantzsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Günther Lentz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdeněk Hradský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Saint Etienne got a freekick which was hit by Harry Thielemann. A collision led to Saint Etienne getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Harry Thielemann hit a great ball. Gregory Hildmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libor Vesecký, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Tjeckien's zone, Günther Lentz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdeněk Hradský came out of the goal and Günther Lentz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, AC Tjeckien's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Majerus came free, but Zdeněk Hradský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Libor Vesecký rounded Saint Etienne's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Milan Starosta kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Raphaël Favre might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdeněk Hradský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphaël Favre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Tjeckien's goalkeeper Zdeněk Hradský, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Günther Lentz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Etienne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 93rd minute Timothy Hantzsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdeněk Hradský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saint Etienne walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
