When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Naldo Fonseca sped through Palmar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Orixe. Urbano Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Vanderslaike FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Oswaldo Perez hit a great ball. Urbano Horado made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanderslaike FC's Ediberto Abraão. When Naldo Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanderslaike FC's protests and gave Naldo Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Vanderslaike FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo Fonseca in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If José Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naldo Fonseca to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Naldo Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Enrique Orixe however easily saved by the left post. Victorino Beltran made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anier Danel immediately put the ball in play. Natalio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Orixe having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Vanderslaike FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Stor to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Enaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Sayvion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Enaut ran back to his position shaking his head.
