Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Cheche kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Andino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Cheche to maneuver through the defense. After 4 minutes of play, Saint Etienne's Bernhard Krier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Günther Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernhard Krier in the 11th minute of play forced Andino's goalkeeper Tiburcio Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernhard Krier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tiburcio Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernhard Krier in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Nel saved Andino from getting behind. Bernhard Krier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Tiburcio Nel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernhard Krier's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When Saint Etienne's Jonas Majerus in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Andino's goalie prevented a goal. Bernhard Krier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernhard Krier in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Nel saved Andino from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match Saint Etienne got a corner. Andino's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Günther Lentz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Saint Etienne's Ralf Behm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiburcio Nel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Saint Etienne's Bernhard Krier in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Andino's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Andino's goal looked a bit too open when Raphaël Favre came free, but Tiburcio Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andino's Tiburcio Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Krier in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Andino's zone, Jonas Majerus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Nel came out of the goal and Jonas Majerus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Ubarna during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Saint Etienne booed when Andino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Behm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Saint Etienne were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bernhard Krier made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Andino's goal looked a bit too open when Bernhard Krier came free, but Tiburcio Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernhard Krier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Andino's zone, Bernhard Krier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Nel came out of the goal and Bernhard Krier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jonas Majerus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiburcio Nel was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Ralf Behm struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tiburcio Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Etienne. When Bernhard Krier, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tiburcio Nel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonas Majerus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint Etienne's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Majerus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Nel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Nel had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernhard Krier from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tiburcio Nel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Majerus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Bernhard Krier scored 0-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Nel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Saint Etienne's Tiburcio Nel threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernhard Krier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Günther Lentz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bernhard Krier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Arnoldo Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregory Hildmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Tano notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann. Gregory Hildmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Saint Etienne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Andino.
