Malpaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Enrique Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Osvaldo Baudelio sped through Palmar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Orixe. Martin Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Beltran in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Malpaso's Enrique Castulo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Enrique Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Palmar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ruisko. If Enrique Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51st match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Neto to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bonadona in the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Enaut got free with Martin Gelacio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Palmar AFC's Enrique Orixe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Baudelio in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. If Bruno Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Castulo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Orixe saved Palmar AFC from getting behind. Martin Gelacio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmar AFC's Honorato Enaut. But to his dismay, Honorato Enaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Enrique Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Baudelio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Baudelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Orixe was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Osvaldo Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Orixe having to interfere.
