After 3 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was A.J. 黄振 who took care of the corner kick. Song Di Xu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Song Di Xu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Di Xu in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play forced Pryaporets's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through Pryaporets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein. 26 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's Song Di Xu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Sten Svanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pryaporets's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Svanström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Pryaporets's Stamen Kirchev was substituted for Petruț Boaru. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Song Di Xu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Song Di Xu to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 59 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pryaporets's Stamen Kirchev quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 76 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's Song Di Xu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute of the match Pryaporets got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A.J. 黄振 ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Mugur Nițisor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play forced Pryaporets's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pryaporets's attentive Stamen Kirchev managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game.
