Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dirk Toeback to make the kick off. Uriel Astudillo scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walery Bejger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Walery Bejger made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Uriel Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. INFIERNO KSK's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Uriel Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INFIERNO KSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Astudillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Dirk Toeback hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Bejger. Walery Bejger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
