Roberto Layton came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Naelio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Roberto Layton made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Benedicto Naelio sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Ceferino Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 27th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Darrigrande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Yashin having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Darrigrande came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mo Qi Yu came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lev Yashin could save by the left post. In the 61st minute, Carlo Darrigrande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ made a substitution. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Lev Yashin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jamar Eldridge came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lev Yashin could save by the left post. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Arotza in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Argentina got a corner. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Jobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Argentina's Samuel Jobo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Layton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Orlando Mangueira hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentina had won after a very even match.
