In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano da Silveira. Aloísio Schmidt made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luciano Barreto. 40 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Caetano da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moises Gayoso. Victor Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of the match. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsicha from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
