Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmadi Subagio in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Delaostia C.F's Asmadi Subagio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-2 after 39 minutes of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Asmadi Subagio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delaostia C.F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asmadi Subagio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Delaostia C.F players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The wind increased when Leo Piearres made the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute.
