Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillen Aguillar having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 11th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Guillen Aguillar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Toscano in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Toscano in the 22nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Joinvilense's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ronaldo Joinvilense sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 30th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 32nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Orlando Casaus took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Guillen Aguillar to make any attempt to save it. When Marco Löhr fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolves FC - DMZ's protests and gave Marco Löhr a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Löhr hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Guillen Aguillar made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 89th minute. The corner led Chile's Xavier Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillen Aguillar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chile booed when Wolves FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Waldir Reis got a free kick in the 96th minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wolves FC - DMZ.
