The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Väino Kartul in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. When Mamutes EC's Väino Kartul in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. Mamutes EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by He Peng Zhou in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Dave Panno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Correia saved Mamutes EC from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valério Meireles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. Dave Panno in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Väino Kartul in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Valério Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamutes EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match, Abram Secada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Magno Correia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 78thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamutes EC's Magno Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Mamutes EC's Magno Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Väino Kartul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Väino Kartul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mamutes EC's Aírton Freire was substituted for Dito das Neves. Mamutes EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
