Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dowdall in the 2nd minute of play. Ezequiel Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, one of Bandelocos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bandelocos. In the 10th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's Luiz Guilherme Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rafael Sobis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Natã dos Santos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Sobis to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Sobis took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 89 minutes into the match, Rafael Sobis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Sobis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A hard shot 91 in the game by Agustín Saelices from a close distance when the talented Nilson do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Bandelocos's players were relieved. Ecuador played a much better game than Bandelocos and deserved their victory. The Bandelocos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
