Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Mota kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Mota. Márcio de Salles lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 20 minutes into the game, one of Bandeca FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guaberto Gamus had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute, Bandeca FC's Hunor Adam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Hunor Adam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hunor Adam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Gamus made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bandeca FC's Rui Gaspar was substituted for Tiago Ortiz. Bandeca FC's David Prestes was substituted for Oscar Silveira. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guaberto Gamus quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Guaberto Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Guaberto Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bandeca FC.
