Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes C.A. MILO got a freekick which was hit by Shao Lin Yan. The supporters of Ecuador booed when C.A. MILO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Valgma didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Roca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Roca saved C.A. MILO from getting behind. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. MILO's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Roca came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, C.A. MILO's Ildefonso Gonsalvo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced C.A. MILO's goalkeeper Bonifacio Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Roca having to make a save. 42 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. MILO the free kick. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, C.A. MILO's Samuel Valgma got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Martinez in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Pereyra was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Valgma in the 51st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Gonsalvo in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, C.A. MILO's Ildefonso Gonsalvo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Pereyra in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Martinez in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Samuel Valgma might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Valgma ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. MILO's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Bonifacio Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Cesar Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, C.A. MILO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Lin Yan to maneuver through the defense. The C.A. MILO support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
