A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nicolas De la Cruz hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Lamine Xande could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. Xandinho Kane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xandinho Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xandinho Kane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xandinho Kane in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xandinho Kane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Durvalino Travassos. Xandinho Kane had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Xande Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamine Xande was the one to do the kick off. Xandinho Thuram kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xande Buffon. New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
