Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cuero Ibañez hit a great ball. Olavo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Revolución Joao FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Bartoli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 9th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Elvira in the 11th minute of play. When Joel Gaona fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Joel Gaona a yellow card for diving instead. Cristinel Iosub kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Leandro Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revolución Joao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Bartoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Bartoli. If Bautista Elvira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bautista Elvira in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Cuero Ibañez. Udalaitz Anel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Bartoli to make the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youssef Malek in the 53rd minute of play. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Leandro Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bautista Elvira got free with Olavo Velloso in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavril Stoican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olavo Velloso. That made the score 0-2 after 85 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Stoican came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Revolución Joao FC's Gavril Stoican nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Olavo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
