Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerardo Gasteiz started the match with the kick off. Los Laguneros de AT's Arnaldo Dalmu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Los Laguneros de AT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuta Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute, Gerardo Gasteiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Zorita. The goal made the score 1-0. When El Salvador's Moises Fernandino in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tota Fabri got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Dalmu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Dalmu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Gasteiz in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Isaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Los Laguneros de AT got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Dalmu. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Curbelo. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Dalmu in the 36th minute. The corner led Los Laguneros de AT's Tota Fabri to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Zorita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Gasteiz in the 40th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Isaio having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Dalmu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Gerardo Gasteiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes, Joshua Curbelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Los Laguneros de AT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Los Laguneros de AT's Gerardo Gasteiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Arnaldo Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Dalmu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tuta Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Gasteiz came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
