Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tom Misaki kicked off to start the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, C.A.Independiente's Gavril Bosioc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Buford Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. Tom Misaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 30th minute of the match C.A.Independiente got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavril Bosioc ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jaroslaw Psikuta made a great header on C.A.Independiente's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Buford Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Misaki got free with Dante Lacasa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Gavril Bosioc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mexico's Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Misaki came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heigo Luiga struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Buford Lim made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Misaki went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Buford Lim firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A.Independiente defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buford Lim. The C.A.Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buford Lim should have stopped the shot. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. Buford Lim made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Quentin Holman replaced Ambrosio Ovando. C.A.Independiente's Justino Confesor was substituted for Heigo Luiga.
