Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Teo Phelipe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teo Phelipe sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Cebo in the 12th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelino Cebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Teo Phelipe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Teo Phelipe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Teo Phelipe took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Cebo in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Cordario notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pegaso's goalie prevented a goal. If Angelino Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Teo Phelipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 62nd minute of the match. Axel Tasis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvestre Toribio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Phelipe in the 70th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Deunoro went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Teo Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Phelipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Pegaso. Anselmo Iraido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 7-0. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Pegaso's Teo Phelipe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pegaso had played much better football throughout.
