In the 27th minute, Pietro Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Berkan Tufan in the 50 minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Abad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Pietro Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Joel Enekoitz was substituted for Antonio Alzamendi. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Secada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicasio Abad. That made the score 4-1 in the 73 minute of play. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nicasio Abad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the game Luis Cazalla made a throw-in which Santino Seco played forward. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 84th minute of play. Peter Blomkvist scored 5-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. William Lebigot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
