In the 30th minute, Reinaldo Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 35 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Freitas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Reinaldo Freitas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Abin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Javier Abin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes ...Pingue S.C.... got a freekick which was hit by Tạ Gavilanes. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Reinaldo Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ...Pingue S.C.... fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 81st minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ...Pingue S.C....'s Tonio Austria. 85 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Abin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Freitas in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when ...Pingue S.C.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santi Gavilanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ...Pingue S.C.... to leave the ground with a draw.
